A strange 13th century Zen nun in Japan at the beginning of the first Shogun era is somehow caught up in her past. At more than seventy years old, she is confronted in a country under reconstruction, with men who assert their constant superiority over women, with a renewal that blows on the country with the arrival of a new path of Buddhism, Zen carried by Master Dogen, and with events that exceed her, but whose place she assumes the place she must occupy. But who is she? What are her limits, the path she should follow? Who was she before she became a nun? Almost twenty years of a life whose turmoil is probably greater than its youthful years, but more inside than outside this time... The premises of the "BuDo" in a society that will be deeply touched and anchored in Zen concepts in the centuries to come....
