This is part two of four. The main character, buffeted by events that he does not understand, begins to observe the individuals and the alliances around him in an effort to define the dynamics of the various groups that affect him. Intrigue and collusion seem to be the main motivation of the various groups he observes, but he is reluctant to draw conclusions.
