The History of ancient Egyptian art

Egyptian art was always built on a foundation that included the natural conditions surrounding it, and within the limits of these conditions there was room for displaying bright images and engravings in a wonderful harmony that was interspersed with the ability for precise expression. Perhaps the truest interpreter of art is Tolstoy, as he defined it as a means of showing emotion or feeling. Emotion may be the result of beauty or it may be the result of disgust. However, both of them are art, even if neither of them is loved or desired. Emotion can be expressed in words, sound, drawing, or pictures, as all of them are tools for many types of art, but something that does not produce an effect on the soul is not art. So how does the Egyptian appear under this analysis?
