The Dowle Family Cookbook

Shortly after the death of a beloved family member from dementia, we spent time talking about how important "family gatherings" were. Many of the gatherings had previously taken place in Grimsby, where a lavish spread of delicious food was always on offer. Family discussions turned to what our favourite foods were, and how it would be lovely if we could find a way of sharing the recipes for these foods... and so this book was created Alzheimer's Disease and dementia continue to affect our loved ones, and so it felt apt to widen the scope of this book slightly to include important photographs and memories - to be a repository for the family's memories. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society.
