It is 1948 and Hannah has decided exactly what she wants to do with her life. Becca, on the other hand, has decided exactly what she doesn't want to do, but it seems she will have to do it anyway. Meanwhile, Dakota has begun a new future for his family, while Tuck discovers a clue to something that happened far back in his memory. In the post-World War II exuberance, there is another conflict looming that will challenge a whole new group of the Family's young men. Everyone knows that the McKenna daughters are a bit different.
