The Diary

Jack Chase returns to Charleston to unravel the mystery surrounding a recently discovered statue. During a renovation at the College of Charleston campus a centuries-old statue is found behind a wall along with a trunk filled with Civil War era dresses, jewelry and -- a diary.The diary leads Chase and college curator Sarah Singleton to some of Charleston's historic, and sometimes chilling, locations as the two search for answers to the statue's mystery, a priceless treasure, a campus murder and links to their own pasts.What they discover is more danger and a greater reward than either of them could have anticipated.
