The Days Away

Everyone has that one thing(s) that reminds them of home. For some it's the smell of fresh cut grass blanketing a fall evening, for others it's the weather, the thick air of the gulf coming off the stagnant water. What makes this so great is that no matter where you may be in the world, one taste of it brings you back home. It brings you back to the memories created under those Friday night lights watching football games from the bleachers, or the humidity refusing to allow your lungs to catch fresh air after someone takes your breath away on a hot summer night. The Days Away is a collection of these experiences I've encountered. No matter how long it has been, a week, a month, even 6 years down the road you will have something/someone stumble into your life. These moments cant be weighed, they are simply a reminder. They bring you back to a place, a person, a moment that once made you feel alive. They bring you back to the "Days Away."
