This book is organised in three parts. Part One examines the fundamental Taoist principles that underlie every style of acupuncture. Part Two deals with the technicalities of the sexagesimal stems and branches system within the broader context of time and its interweaving cycles. Part Three delves into the more esoteric concepts of Han dynasty astronomy, numerology, and the symbolism of the I Ching trigrams, as well as the relationship between psychological profiles and the complete stems and branches system.
