The Book of Enoch

A book of Jewish myth and thinking, the Book of Enoch was a book that was widely used in the first century as a point of reference in Jewish belief. While it is largely unknown exactly when the book was written, it was known to have been written by the time of the New Testament since a passage in the book of Jude comes from this source. While not canonical, this book is an interesting tool to enlightening the myths Jews held onto at the time of Biblical writing.
