The Abundant is such a book; an elegant fable inviting us to live our fullest lives and to commune easefully with those around us.

One hundred and fifty million years ago, desperate, marauding ants are competing for land and resources on the savannahs of Southern Africa. Anthea, a precocious young ant, feels compelled to leave the fragile security of her homeland when her own peaceable ideals of generosity and inclusion are rejected by the elders. 

Against all odds, she builds a progressive supercolony and determines that its name and philosophies shall forever endure and become synonymous with a bountiful and aspirational outlook.
