"Thabo Searches For The Animals" is a story written by Marty Strauss in South Africa while serving in the Peace Corps with his wife, Suzanne and illustrated by orphans in an Art Program sponsored by Seeds of Light, an NGO.The story is about clean water and importance of keeping our drinking water clean for both us, humans and the animals that share the water.Thabo lives on a farm and his daily chore is to fetch water from the river. He visits the animals that live on the river. One day he cannot the animals. They are all gone. He wants to know why they left and how to bring them back.
