Tales of Alyie Starstriker

"e;Tales of Alyie Starstriker"e; are seven stories on the adventures of Alyie Starstriker, a young woman officer in the Sidereal Federation Fleet, who in the first story is the Commander of the Valkyrie Fighter Squadron - an elite group of four female fighter pilots. The stories take place in the 26th century when humanity has expanded to a human space colonizing over 30 planets in a sphere of nearly 60 light-years in diameter. Alyie encounters different human cultures and physical and technical challenges as she makes her ascent up the Sidereal Federation hierarchy. She needs to summon up all her skill, intelligence, insight and associations with colleagues to overcome the many crisis that face her and the Sidereal Federation.
