Giving Muslims direction on how to follow their faith in an ethical and right manner is the main goal of Islamic teachings. The Hadith, the teachings of the Qur'an, and the views of Islamic scholars serve as its pillars. Islamic jurisprudence refers to the expanding body of judicial rulings that address the practical application of Islamic law in various contexts.
