Al-Ghuri, like the Mamluk sultans before him, held leadership among Muslim kings, due to their responsibility to serve the Two Holy Mosques.This book traces the life of Sultan al-Ghuri from his early days until he assumed the sultanate, his great heroism, and the battles he fought.
