In a little over a month, he attempts to sublimate his basest desires into art, and in doing so, delves into an ancient alchemical ritual-nigredo, albedo, citrinitas, rubedo-that reflects his own quest for meaning.

Sublimate explores our libidos, and how they might not just be the reason behind why we have sex, but a force that controls governments and societies, gives rise to authoritarianism, and dictates the world.

Tolcher returns to form with another chronicle that is as much sex and drugs as it is philosophy and psychology.
