Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar Technique: Experiments, Analyses, and Applications

Subject matter of this book is split Hopkinson pressure bar or Kolskey bar, an instrument for the dynamic characterization of materials. A brief review of Hopkinson bar development and its uses are presented in addition to Hopkinson bar analyses using LS-Dyna finite element method and applications to composite materials.
