Spectrum Year 9 Class Book

The Spectrum Year 9 Class Book is one of the resources available for Spectrum Key Stage 3 Science. It introduces the key words and concepts that pupils need, in a modern, fun and clear way. The core of Units 9A–L of the QCA Scheme of Work is covered, with a portion of 9M Scientific Investigations, as advised by the Framework. Questions are included throughout each chapter to check understanding and to build thinking skills. The accompanying Year 9 teacher material contains the practical activities, discussions, starters and homework required to build on the core content, and is available in both paper and CD-ROM format. Teaching support is completed with extensive guidance notes also in the teacher material, and with the Technician Notes, Testmaker Assessment CD-ROM and web resources.
