Stephen Trudgill presents an internationally authored research-level text, aimed at providing a synopsis of developments in solute modelling in catchment ecosystems over the last ten years. The volume includes particular advances in solute modelling, especially at the catchment scale, emphasising the influences of weathering, ecosystem processes and hydrological processes as well as the application of models and modelling principles. The book will be of use in a management context as successful water quality management actions are often dependent upon the predictive success of models.
