Running along the shore with a kite bigger than they are, Kiki and Madi make several failed attempts to launch their kite. When their Grandpa takes over and the kite ends up nose down in the sand, a nearby pelican swoops in to help.

Taking the string in his beak, the pelican flaps his large wings and soars high above the ocean with the kite-its tail chasing the course. But what happens once the pelican lets go of the string?
