In a few Indian temples there lies large pair of Chappals or wooden or silver-coated footwear which are considered sacred and belongs to the divine, ever since childhood the author often questioned why his Chappal lay outside while the divine one rests under shrines, the answer however was simple but it startled the author to stride its path Where nothing else steps in. SILVER CHAPPALS is a passionate journey through varying emotions of an individual who strives to realize himself as an individual and starts a process to emancipate from a cage of self-pity. It brings out the reflection of his soul through the poems during unmasking stages. This journey with the SILVER CHAPPALS is a continual process to let go the clutches and stride free.
