It all started as a very warm friendship that eventually ended in marriage; once those dotted lines were signed, I was trapped and nothing on earth would have prepared me for the turmoil I was to experience.My ex-spouse's subtle unveiling as an abuser who thrived on control and subjection, created a dark wanton aura in the home which I never understood as Domestic Violence.

This book is a non-chronological narrative which recounts the horrors of domestic violence/abuse and its adverse effects on children over and above the primary receiver: the partner. It proffers solutions on both how to cope when found in such situations, and how to eventually make a safe exit for the sake of the wellbeing of the children- THE SILENT WATCHERS.
