Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The work presented in this text is so designed as to require two years, working two hours per day, in its completion, and is intended as a ready reference for the pupil and the teacher. It will be Observed that in this text cabinet-making follows joinery. It is not necessary that cabinet work Should be taken before carpentry. If the student so desires, he may take either cabinet - making or carpentry or both, after he has finished joinery. All joint exercises should be worked out by the teacher in class demonstrations.
