Jim is a passenger aboard a spaceship that is attacked by pirates. He escapes in a small shuttlecraft with a handful of fellow passengers. The ship crashes on a primitive, hostile planet. Crawling out of the burning wreckage, he finds himself completely alone. To survive, to seek out rescue, Jim must contend with bizarre aliens, mystifying cultures, and an unforgiving planet. Young Adult Science Fiction Shipwreck on ShadowWorld is the first in a series of novellas following the adventures of Jim, future Prince of the Frontier Worlds.
