Shalom Israel is an interactive workbook that will teach you basic Hebrew conversation while exploring Modern Israel's history and culture. Previous knowledge of how to read and write Hebrew is a prerequisite (please see my other book, Read, Write, Recite Hebrew).

Michelle Geft, M.A.Ed., was born in Israel, raised in Los Angeles and has been teaching for over two decades. She is the Director of Education at Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue and an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University.
