"Send Me" is a short-term mission trip preparation workbook. The program can be completed by a group as a series of team preparation meetings. However, the lessons can also be used by an individual as a self-study. The lessons are specifically designed to help teams avoid costly mistakes on the mission field. It includes a combination of stories, fun activities, devotions, and questionnaires to prepare a team for service. Topics include, cultural sensitivity, spiritual preparation, working as a team, staying healthy and monitoring speech. A special section on cross cultural witnessing is included at the end of the manual. It can be taught as a separate study. If a missions team successfully completes this manual before departure, it may be possible to avoid common pitfalls. That way the real work of ministry can begin.
