Soon-to-be mom, Cait MacDonell, never imagined that a pandemic, moving to a new country during her third trimester, an emergency C-Section, and having a baby struggling with eczema would be a part of her pregnancy, birth, and postpartum story.

Cait had to fight to find joy in the midst of feeling alone in a swirling world. Sealed, not Healed is an honest conversation with readers as well as the triumphant telling of testimonies of what Cait discovered along the way: the unshakable truth that God is with us through every trial and trimester.

Post birth, as Cait's stitches were taken out, her midwife told her, "you are sealed, but not yet healed." Immediately what came to mind was the knowledge that as Christians, we are sealed by the love of Jesus, but that there are so many areas of our lives that still need healing. Sealed, not Healed beautifully unfolds how, oftentimes, our unplanned moments are covered by grace and intertwine with God's story.
