Samson

The author tells the famous Biblical legend of the hero Samson in a new way. There is room in the story not only for Delilah, Samson's beloved, but also for his parents, his wife, and the angel who guided the strongman's acts. Author has introduced several fictional characters. The story of Samson's life is presented as a tragedy of a loner endowed with outstanding abilities that ordinary people do not have. Narrative ends with Samson's sacrificial death. A reader will recognize in the ancient legend a contemporary motif.
