Through his biography, it becomes clear to us that Sheikh Salem bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi lived through an important era in Omani history. The most prominent event was his contemporary with both the Al-Bu Said Sultans and the Imamate system after its revival in 1913 AD. He was in agreement with the authority of the Imamate at the beginning and then the Sultanate after 1954 AD, and he gained the trust of the Sultan. Said bin Taimur, as evidenced by the fact that he became one of the most important statesmen in the Ministry of Interior and Justice, which, in addition to finance alone, was the government of Sultan Said bin Taimur. He used to assign him both the judiciary and the guardianship in some states, "and he would also summon him to consult him on some matters related to the judiciary and the problems of the state." Therefore, we can say that Sheikh Al-Siyabi lived as a jurist, teacher, judge, and governor until this stage.
