In 1971, college-freshman Larry Singer approached a local concert promoter for permission to take photographs for a local newspaper. Little did he know that, a verbal agreement and handshake later, he would have unrestricted access to the luminaries of rock-and-roll! In the ensuing years, Singer was recruited as a photographer for Circus magazine and shot photos of The Who, Bob Dylan, DeepPurple, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, and many more. Today, his work is included in the permanent collection of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has been featured in music documentaries about the legends of the 1970s and early 1980s. In this book, he takes readers behind the scenes with stories and photos from his favorite performers and concerts.
