Relationship between Sustainability and Financial Return

The study looks at the evolution of environmental economics and its relationship with sustainability and social responsibility. Since the 1950s, awareness of the importance of sustainable management of natural resources has grown. This awareness has now reached the financial market, leading to the creation of indices such as the S&P/B3 Brazil ESG and the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE B3). The study aims to estimate and forecast the ESGB11 and ISUS11 assets, considering their importance in replicating corporate sustainability efforts.
