'The Professor', Charlotte Bronte's first book, was published at the time of her death and served as the inspiration for Jane Eyre and Villette, two of her later novels. William Crimsworth, the story's narrator, shares an inspiring narrative of bravery and drive in the face of jealously and jealousy: To the dismay of his harsh uncles and older brother, William, who was orphaned at an early age, rejects a career in the church and later as a businessman.
