Predicting the unseen (ancient and modern)

Since his existence on Earth, man has been passionate about discovering the unseen and knowing what events the future holds. People have appeared among human beings in every era who claimed to have the ability to predict the unseen and read the future.This tendency or claim to be able to reveal the unseen did not stop at individuals, but rather extended to nations and peoples. In ancient times, the Assyrians excelled in predicting the unseen by observing the planets and celestial bodies in their paths. Their clear skies enabled them to monitor their movements, and they said that these movements were indications of people''s fortunes and destinies. The ancient Egyptians had a large share of this knowledge, inheriting it from their ancestors during a distant past extending to countless generations.
