Let's be honest, one-sided conversations are a drag because they can become quite boring and stale. Being in a conversation that you never get to contribute to often leaves you quite turned off by both the conversation as well as the individual doing all the speaking. The most frustrating part is when you know you possess the answer and can provide a valid potential contribution to add to the conversation that could be of great value if only given a chance to speak.
