The Camino de Santiago is one of the most famous pilgrimage routes in the world. Since the 900s A.D., millions of religious pilgrims have traversed the 570-mile trail to reach the burial site of St. James in Santiago de Compostela. Having made the pilgrimage himself, Dr. Richard Blake was inspired to write poetry based on his experiences, conveying the tremendous spirituality that brings a traveler closer to God.
