Planing, Gluing and Painting Corpora

"Planing, Gluing and Painting Corpora "comprises eleven articles concerned with the varied and variable practical work of (primarily applied) corpus linguists, overall with a strong methodological and process-oriented focus. The contributions, bringing together established names and novices, cover topics such as corpus composition and design, the use of corpora for researching theoretical linguistic issues and for investigating discourse analytical questions, and the application of corpora and corpus linguistics in foreign language teaching and foreign language didactics. The corpora used show variation in type (large general vs. small genre-specific, single language vs. parallel, annotated vs. non-annotated) and cover a number of European languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Czech).
