Plain-English Study Guide for the FCC Amateur Radio General Class License

This is a study guide to help you pass the FCC test for the General Class Amateur (Ham) Radio license. Even if you have very little background in radio or electronics, you will be able to pass the test by using this guide. (This book assumes that you have already passed the test for the entry level Technician license. If you haven't, there is a separate "Plain English" guide for that exam.)

All of the concepts are explained in the most basic terms, and each section of the book is followed by the actual questions you will see on the test. When you are finished with this book, you will be able to pass the test This edition contains the new questions in effect as of July 1, 2023. These questions will be in use until 2027.
