Perspectives on Education Reform – Arts Education as a Catalyst

Learning in and through the arts will allow education to meet the unique challenges facing it as the twenty-first century approaches. Leaders in business, technology, and arts education address these challenges in six persuasive pieces on education reform. Also included are the proceedings from the Center's national conference that addressed the question, "How is arts education a catalyst to reforming American education?" Summaries of conference sessions support the impact of arts education on reform through interdisciplinary learning, assessment, cultural diversity, equity and access, and technology.
