Clothing is a basic need for humans, serving as a covering of the skin and protection from the elements like the cold, rain and the sun.

For Jayde, though, clothing serves an even bigger purpose. It is through clothes that Jayde expresses their style, their personality and their identity - something they weren't able to do at their old school so much because of the school's dress code.

So, when Jayde imagines the move to the new school - one that doesn't have a uniform - they become excited to share more of their individuality with everyone; that is, until they realize that not everyone is as jazzed about their clothing as they are.
