This tutorial guide comes in four parts, starting with the necessary fundamental knowledge required to make sense of the servicing procedures described in the second section. This second part introduces a range of the most useful fault finding methods. Section three consists of a number of practical exercises, each described and illustrated step-by-step. From preparing the workspace and removing the cover, through simple up-grading to more complex fault-finding and rectification, the trainee is equipped to meet the servicing needs most commonly encountered wherever PCs are used. A final short section collects together useful technical data for easy reference.
