Palliative care Assessment: Impact in the Life of Patients with Cancer at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is the result of 5 years' worth of thoroughly reviewed research and evaluation. Every page portrays the most important task of the chaplain which is the role of spiritual assessments. Roswell Park Cancer Center is the only one of its kind in western New York and was the site for this research. Chaplains cannot deliver a fair and accurate spiritual care without realizing their most important duty with patients. Not doing so is not only negative but can cause great harm. Sincere, honest, and professional chaplains need to be aware of the highest importance of this tool.
