"e;Over Easy, Cracking the Shell"e; exposes the cracks in the foundation of John Calvin's theology. After growing up in a Calvinist church, I gained a deep understanding of Calvin's beliefs. Through in-depth Bible study, I developed views that are the exact opposite of his. When I saw many people suffering because of Calvin's teachings, I decided to share my findings to give others hope.I oppose most of Calvin's teachings because they contradict what Jesus taught. Calvin's theology is based entirely on his predestination-only and no-free-will opinions. I point out the "e;cracks"e; in his theology and show that he has no evidence to support these two claims.Today, there are many variations of Calvinism. I present it as I learned it at the church where I grew up. Calvin didn't use the words "e;fast-forward video."e; I use this analogy only to help my readers better understand his doctrine.Throughout my book, I include many Bible verses and offer a hopeful perspective on the Bible. I cover the basics of John Calvin's theology, and in contrast, I highlight how much our Heavenly Father loves us all. Ultimately, everyone has their own beliefs. At the very least, I hope we can all agree that — love is the answer — every time.
