Online Dating: Hook, Lies, and Scammers

This book is about the infamous and very, very popular practice of Online Dating. Online dating is defined per Wikipedia as: "Online dating is a system that enables people to find and introduce themselves to new personal connections over the Internet, usually with the goal of developing personal, romantic, or sexual relationships." (Wikipedia, n.d.) It is further defined in the Urban Dictionary as "Online Dating is where you call text or email the person which is your online gf/bf and send pictures and talk on the phone and meet each-other in real life." (Urban Dictionary) The Oxford Dictionary says it's "the practice of searching for a romantic or sexual partner on the Internet, typically via a dedicated website" (Oxford Dictionary, n.d.)
