This companion to the best-selling "Once Upon a Time in Africa" brings together stories that reflect the many cultures and peoples of Asia, from behemoth China to small Bangladesh and newly independent East Timor. While the Philippines is primarily Christian, in most Asian countries Christians form but a small percentage of the population.
