Normandy Stoneware

Stoneware pottery from Normandy has been used in the Channel Island of Jersey for more than four hundred years. Pots were made to suit every purpose with their design and quality being practical and durable enough to allow their use to continue into the twentieth century. Normandy stoneware was a key part of Jersey's domestic and agricultural culture and pots may still be found in attics, farm lofts and outbuildings.
