When Humans joined the Galactic Alliance, they introduced themselves as representatives of The Human Galactic Empire. The Alliance laughed to themselves. After all, a few hundred colonists didn't exactly make for an empire, did they?

But when the Thraxxis invade, Humanity replies with a taste for war that the Alliance never expected, and a call for aid that reaches across the stars to a distant galaxy. Empire, the Galactic Alliance remembers with sudden fear. The humans called themselves an empire.

And The Human Galactic Empire does not take prisoners when it comes defending their allies.
