No Life for an Old Man

A middle-aged couple are caught far from home after an EMP event. This is the story of two regular people, not former military super soldiers or anything, having to make their way from their rented home outside of Freeport, Texas to their family in Southwest Louisiana. As they run from foreign invading forces along the Texas coast, they encounter bandits, allies, and the pain and discomfort of middle age.
