No Comfort: Hurricane Mar

If you read novels by John Grisham, James Patterson, and Peter Robinson, you will enjoy this book. Lieutenant Pat Colberg, a nurse aboard the hospital ship, USNS Comfort, is found dead early one morning on a beach in Puerto Rico. The Comfort is in the country to assist after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. Law enforcement authorities soon zero in on the man who was last with the lieutenant, and he hires the law firm of Diaz and Hardy to defend him and investigate the killing. They soon find themselves enmeshed in a web of drug and weapons trafficking, alien smuggling, murder, and kidnapping, amid the chaos of the hurricane's aftermath.
