Nationalism

The great and legendary author and poet of India needs no introduction when it comes to his vision and ideologies that reverberate even today in his works. In this book, Rabindranath Tagore has spoken about idea of nationalism and how it is important in order to ensure harmony and order in a society. He also spoke about basic human rights that are quintessential for the progress of any country. Tagore also brought to light the origin of caste system and how it has come to cripple the society. He drew attention to the cultural ethos of Japan, where the country has been able to maintain a fine balance between modernity and also retaining it's spiritual and humanitarian essence.
