Among the great men are the fruit of their time, born when the need calls for them, and such are the men of religious and social reform. These reformers were preceded by the need for reform and advocacy. Whoever reads the biographies of Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad - peace be upon them - and Lothairus, Espaquel, and Peter the Great, will discover the truth of this saying, for these Men are born into an environment filled with a dire need for reform, and they grow up feeling in the atmosphere around them the necessity of the great deeds they succeed in accomplishing. There is no doubt that the reader of the history of these great people realizes, at first glance, something they all have in common, which is that they spend a large part of their lives before manifesting the calling on which they have yet stood, and for which they may lose those lives.
