The City has blossomed under a Faerie aura for one hundred and fifty years. Venice has become opulent, confusing, and delightful. Demons trade souls in the Square and infest an island in the Lagoon. Crafty faeries have taken over the Merceria, so walking the road between the Square and the Canal might take a minute or a lifetime, if you stray into a shop.
